i just got my astro headset today, and on the update page it says:
MIXAMP 5.8

CONNECTED - FIRMWARE VERSION 3155


and

A50 WIRELESS HEADPHONES

CONNECTED - FIRMWARE VERSION 3302


Also i too experience static in the background. I never had any static on cheaper headphones, and i was expecting the sound quality on these to be amazing, considering the above average price. Not even sure if it's static but it's a constant hissing sound. It's driving me crazy as i bought these to listen loud music, and the hissing is just downright driving me nuts.

I have spend so much money for my Astro A50 and i got the same problem. I got a constant hissing sound in my right speaker. This problem starts at the last patch... my Versions are the same like the above. before the last patch i got no problem with this f**** sound, its killing me ! ! ! Please help me ...

my sound is spot on, mic is spot on.
issue with a50 not powering off manually is intermittent.
