Yeah I do this with my A40s every time I make a video on anything. If there was a way to implement that to the A50s that would be pretty cool, but really tricky.

The Mixamp can't just make its own 5.1/7.1, there has to be some sort of true surround sound coming into the Mixamp for it to virtualize it for you. Any sound card will work as long as it has solid...

I would also advise getting the daskeyboard, those things are knarly, a buddy of mine has one and it is extremely addicting just to type on it haha. The clicking sound they make is awesome.

I would tell you to go towards the A40s incase you decide to go LAN or go to tourneys, I use my A40s at MLG Pro Circuit every year in Dallas, TX. The A40s come in really handy in that case.
