Hey ASTRO Family and thanks for purchasing a MixAmp Pro TR! We hope you're enjoying it. If you're visiting this forum then you probably either want to share your own EQ presets you've created or download some new ones from others. For whichever reason you're here, we have a few rules that we need you to follow to make sure everyone stays safe from malicious content. They're really short and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to read through.

    1) A download link isn't required although if you do include one, please make sure it has been scanned with a trusted anti-virus before being uploaded and shared. If we receive any reports from users that your link does contain malicious content, your post will be removed and you may be banned from creating any more. We do understand that mistakes can happen and we will work with you to resolve them if it was a genuine mistake.

    2) Regardless of whether a download link is provided or not, you must include a screenshot of your ASTRO Command Center to allow other users to recreate your preset without the need of actually downloading a file. Posts which do not include a screenshot will be temporarily removed until one is added.

    3) Please only create one thread for an EQ preset. If any changes are made such as updating from V1 to V2, the title can be modified to show this and we recommend using brackets such as this format [V2 - Updated 26 October 2015]. This allows users to see that your EQ preset has been updated and you may bump your thread once to let people know your EQ preset was updated and the updated information can be found in the first post of your thread. This allows us to keep this section of the forum clean from duplicate threads and allows you to keep all the discussion of your preset in one thread.

    Have fun!

    Publishing your EQ preset

If you plan on publishing your EQ preset then it's a good idea to make it as clear as possible in the title what it's aimed for such as a certain game or hearing certain types of audio better. In your title, you should prefix it as a "Creation" which can be done by using the dropdown box and then use terms such as "Halo 5 - Hear Enemies Better" or "Great bass EQ for Destiny Hunters". Something that gives the user an idea of what your EQ is aiming for without having to read through your thread. But it's up to you to experiment and find what works best here. If you plan on updating your EQ preset, you may also want to edit the title so in brackets, you have something along the lines of [V2 - Updated 26/10/2015] to let people know this has been updated which is better than creating a separate thread and losing your discussion. In addition, if you do update your EQ preset, you should also name it V2 or V3 so people know which version they have within the ASTRO Command Center.

Within your thread, let people know what this EQ preset is doing and then provide a download link to download and install your EQ preset. We also require you to take a screenshot of the preset adjustments should people want to recreate it themselves over downloading a file from the internet. I have listed an example thread below for you to follow.

If you have any questions regarding this, please let me know either by using a private message or by creating a discussion thread. This forum is for you as requested and we want to tweak it the best as possible. If you don't follow the rules or do upload a file that is malicious, then you may be banned from posting in this forum so if you feel your computer may be infected, please only use screenshots.

Creation - Great EQ for hearing enemy footsteps [V2 - Updated 26/10/2015]

This EQ preset has been developed to work with most games to allow you to hear enemies much easier over other audio. It works best with FPS type games and if you have any feedback to share or find it doesn't work too well with a certain game, please post it below so I can fine tune it even better.

    Requesting an EQ preset

If you aren't very good at creating your own EQ presets and couldn't find one that works good for you then you can request one. In the title, use the prefix "Request" and then let people know what you're after such as "Destiny - I want good footsteps without affecting gun sounds". Within the thread itself, write a good description of what you're after and then hopefully people will show up and make you one or link to a thread which they believe fulfils your request.

If you are posting an EQ for a request, then the same rules follow as above.

    - Give it a "title" within your post.
    - Give it a description of what it does and what games you feel it's best suited for.
    - Download link if possible but not necessary.
    - Screenshots of your ASTRO Command Center.
    - If you are posting an EQ preset which already has a thread, it's best to just redirect to that thread.

    Screenshots

A good way to share your screenshots is to upload them to a website called http://imgur.com/. Once your screenshots have been uploaded, there should be a option to copy and paste BBCode (Forums) which once posted will show up as a screenshot like in my post above without the weird code.

    How to report posts
If you feel a post has ignored our rules or the file is malicious, you can report the post by using the report button below the content. Please give it a good description of what's wrong such as download link has a virus or screenshot not added and we will work with the user to rectify these and get the post back up and running.
