I would like Astro Gaming to create the Astro Command Center as an application and push it to Xbox One. That way Xbox One owner's can customize settings directly on the console itself without having to always connect the Base Station directly to a PC/Mac when ever you feel like customizing presets.

    Yes, and PS4 (if possible).
From my understanding it seems more likely to happen on Xbox One due to UWP and the more straight forward process of developing on Xbox/Microsoft's ecosystem. No so much on Sony's machine/ecosystem. But we'll see.

    Hey jT415Gz,

I believe it is something we have looked into but can't directly be done because of how the Xbox One handles USB devices. To customise the MixAmp Pro TR or the A50 Wireless and Base Station, you need to place them into PC mode which the Xbox One can't use. We could create a UWP app and port it to the Xbox One but the problem is getting USB devices to interact is a challenge because of the console is closed down compared to Windows which is open. Perhaps in the future, it's something that can be done, but for now, I don't believe it's possible. Great suggestion however!

    Hey Mitch -

Would it be possible to allow for eq/setting changes within
ACC without connecting the base station to the computer? Then, you can connect at a later time to sync.

Thanks for the update Mitch. Pity, as it's a bit of a PITA to have to swap over USB plugs to use ACC.

Appreciate the input! Hopefully sooner than later, Astro can someway somehow get around the USB block, if that is in fact what is causing the impossible here.

So, in the meantime, I am swapping between two dedicated micro USB cords from Xbox and from PC depending on what I plan to do, without having to move the Basestation around. Easiest way for me right now.

    Hey OC40,

The ASTRO Command Center is a live tool so the changes you make are in real time, the sync to device button is just to save those settings locally should the headset and base station be disconnected and the changes lost. It's not possible for the software to run without the hardware.

Headset cable to pc mic spliter (green and pink) plug green into headset outlet on mixamp plug pink into a cuppler with an aux cord on the other side plug other end of aux cord into the pink side of another y spliter into your xbox (or ps4 i would assume but cant confirm) conrtoller and then another aux cord from the green y spliter plugged into the controller to the aux port on your mixamp . Optical into xbox usb into pc and mixamp in pc mode and viola you can now adjust presets on the fly wile playing xbox and hear both game sound aswell as xbox chat ...your welcome ...sorry for the mess of cords in front of you but its only because astro took away the controler cable to the mix amp

    Edit
Ps. Dont forget to turn down game sound on your controller (either the settings tab or with the chat adapter on controller) all the way down or you will hear an echo on your game sound

    Thanks for the reply, Mitch.
But you didn't mention the PS4 app option. Since the Mixamp TR Pro connects via the optical, would this change on being able to create a PS4 app for editing the EQ settings?

    Best,

This is to practically recreate the abilities in Command Center? I dont want to send my headset mic to my stream, only through the game to friends, so that I can record my own voice on stream louder with my audiotechnica mic which sounds much better. This will work for that? If so, care to draw a diagram? I may already have all the cables (although I don't know how we could do equaliztion 'on the fly' without some sort of soundboard mixer) Thanks
