I would like to use them for BF3 on my rig, but haven't really found a good setup guide out there to make sure everything is absolutely perfect before I jump into battle.

I have the Creative X-Fi Titanium card in my case, has anyone out there created a detailed guide on what settings need to be changed or tweaked for these headphones and that card to run well together?

I've bought this headset in March this year. For know every thing was fine (I was using this headset to listen music and movies). But few days ago I've get my xbox 360 after one year break. Surround system works fine, but I've have some other problems.

Firstly it's seems this power cable isn't enough thick to power the mixamp (I've replace this cable with my usb cord from my xbox controllers charger (much thicker) and every thing was all right.

Secondly my voice via xbox live is muffled or something like this. And if for example I blow to microphone I hear this in my headset (like an echo). I've connected headset straight to my laptop and my voice was clear after this I've connected mixamp to my laptop and my voice was clear again. If you want surround sound (which you probably do) you will need to connect your Mixamp via an optical cable to a sound card or onboard sound/motherboard (mobo) in your PC.

Where do I put the Optical Cable? So I have the Astro a50 is an iMac, I downloaded the update for the mac from the site but do not understand why when I play ps3 to connect the headphones to the mac why use skype with my friends while playing through your headphones but USB mac is entering all the correct settings (ASTRO wirless etc..) do not feel the volume of the audio but my friends to me I feel ..

I'm looking to setup 5.1 surround through the Realtek HD manager. My motherboard is: Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3 and it supports 5.1 surround. I've made sure I have the latest Realtek drivers.

I have done the following in the Realtek HD manager:

Set the speakers tab as default device.
Set digital output and Digital output (Optical) tabs to Dolby Digital live (5.1 surround sound) format

In the speakers tab, do I set the speaker configuration to 5.1 speaker?. Reason I ask this is because when i have it set to 5.1 speaker and do the test, I can only hear the test on the front left and right speakers. When the test moves to the center speaker and sub-woofer I can't hear anything.

Is there anything I am doing incorrectly?.

However, for some odd reason whenever I try to log in to main site(not here), it keeps saying "invalid login or PW". So every time this happens, I have to reset my password and then I'll be able to log in again.
