Question about the A40 gaming headset

I was planning on purchasing this headset because i my bluetooth mic is crap. But i also wanted to know if:

The headset can be used as a mp3 headset only when not gaming? If so, is there any add-on I'm going to need to buy in order for it too work?

Yeah it can be used for mp3 purposes and you can hook up your ipod or mp3 to the mix amp which is cool but take my word and go look up a virtual manual for the a40s on the site because some things are just hard to explain.:D

Hey ShadowB,

Yeap, it'll work straight outta the package with any MP3 player. Whats also neat is if you're using something like the iPod Touch 2nd Gen+, or the iPhone, they both work with the 4-pole adaptor, meaning you could use the microphone that's part of the A40 along with these units.

Also, with the included speaker tags, there are two covered tags, and one with the mic hole. If you wanted to use the A40s without the mic, you could remove the mic, and clip on the two covered tags (to cover the mic inputs up). People may give ya strange looks on the subway/train/plane if you had your Mic out. ;)
