Befor i buy this, does the Headset and MixAmp and mic, work for the playstation 3, does it work just as good for the xbox360?

I use it on both 360 and PS3, they sound the same and like Stan said PS3 just requires that adapter.

Yeah, get the PS3 cable that allows you to communicate on the PS3 and the TOSlink cable for the best audio quality. Trust me, they are worth the money and will make your experience with the PS3 a lot better.
