Will Astro Gaming be at PAX Prime 2011 in Seattle? I will be, and I would love to meet some of you guys and check out the new stuff! Anybody else going?

Will there be a PAX headset on sale like last year? I missed out due to lack of fundage.

umm.... dont know if the astro booth will be at pax or if it will be at mlg Raleigh thats going on the same weekend. but a few astro people will be there for sure!

One of the first thing I was planning on doing was heading to the astro booth this year at PAX. I got the headset last year at PAX and have loved astro ever since. I even got my customer service RMA sped up to get the headset back to me by pax. Love astro. If they aren't there, i'll be really bummed :(

i hope we dont have to be bummed... but i think mlg takes priority over pax. maybe astro can con a partner into selling their stuff at their booth

We'll be there and have units being used by our partners booths, but will not be having a booth present this year due to MLG being the same weekend. There may still be some things available to purchase or get from us directly... stay tuned!

Skipping the largest consumer video game convention in North America that only happens once a year to go to an event that happens multiple times a year seems kind of strange to me, especially considering how many people come into direct contact with your products at an event like pax. I'm sad now :(

I kinda have to agree. My friend and I got Astros last year because I got to see them in person and talk to the guys at the booth. My other friend coming this year has pre-decided to get a pair. PAX exposes the product to a lot of people. Where will they likely be for sale from at PAX?

pax happens twice a year :)

true. but also they make "professional grade gaming products" and a pro gaming event i think would have people more content to spend 250+ on high end gaming gear rather than the casual gamer. yea there are more people at pax, not a lot of them probably care about high end audio equipment.

just at least what i would think

Really doesn't matter, decision is already made. All I know is that EVERY person I know personally who has a set of astros has them because they tried them out at PAX and loved them. Literally every single one.

Oh, we'll still be around at PAX at different booths so people can try em out (and if they do like em, it's not too too hard to find us online). There should also be a little something special at the PAX merch booth again this year. You'll have to wait and see.

Hi Warblade, can you confirm if we'll be able to buy Astro gear from PAX? If so where? Will it be at an Astro booth somewhere? Someone else's booth or not at all? I ask because:

I was hoping to buy a 2011 upgrade kit for my A40's (that you personally convinced me to buy last year)
My friend who's coming with us is hoping to buy an A40 wireless system while we are there as he is jealous of mine :)
I was planning on getting Astro PAX themed merch (tags, etc) if you guys made someone thing year


My friend was really hoping to buy it at PAX to save on shipping to Canada & on the duty.

Heya Spud,

It was good to be there and "meet" ya last year, hehe (even without knowing it). From the info I've been given, we will more than likely not be having our audio systems for sale, but will have atleast something at the PAX Merch booth (gotta wait and see what it is).

Being from Canada, have you checked out ProperReserve, a Canadian distributor for us?
