Ok first i went and asked my friend if he can order the Astros for me since i didnt have a credit card and he did and i decided to get the MLG Edition Black ones, After i chose what i wanted i went and bought the 3 day shipping and i bought them Tuesday and they didnt show up till MONDAY, so i was kinda upset for paying more money to get it shipped faster and it wasnt but anyway after i got the Astros finally i went home and open the box and i was exicted so i got everything hooked up and i used the Opt cable i bought with it and as soon as i turned it on and went in my friends he said he was hearing a little buzzing sound, so i blew into the holes of the mix amp and everything and it still buzzed, also im using a wired controller but anyway i decide to take of the mic and put it on the other side of the headset and as soon as i did that, the headset would not allow me to speak instead it just showed it my mic logo on the xbox just staying on as if i was playing music but if i talked in it nobody could hear me, so i was was even more upset after the shipping was late then these new Astros i spent $350 on were not working after only having it for an hour, nobody can hear me but i can still hear the gameplay sound on the headset still and now i must wait longer to get these fixed and i dont know where to start to get these fixed or a new part sent to me. So what do i do.

Hey Zyptic,

Your best option is to send the Support Team an email from their Support Page (http://www.astrogaming.com/support/). Please include any relevent information of what is not working with the MixAmp and headset, and they'll walk you through various steps to figure out what's wrong and to help you. These forums aren't setup as a support forum, as nothing can be easily tracked and taken care of. With their customer support system at Astro, they make sure that each Support Ticket that comes in has a number, and that those tickets are replied to within a 96 hour window.

Most of the users here are fellow Astro fans, and while we can possibly provide some tips and help on things, the more technical side of support should be handled by the Astro team.

Please do keep us updated on your headphones. =)

Yea i just did but first i wanted to ask the forum if anybody would might know the problem because i heard it takes the Astro support team weeks to contact you back and i dont have that since im going to local tournaments with my team and i need those Astros now because they will all have one but not me.:p and also its kinda messed up you spend $350 on them and you get them and there broken and you must wait weeks just to get a reply back. Something that much should have 24/7 support team but i hope they dont take long:confused: I could of bought a used car for how much i spent.

LOL, trust me, the used car you could have bought for $350 wouldn't get you very far. =P

The Astro Support Team strives to get back to your emails within 96 hours. If you don't hear back from them within that time frame, you can send in another ticket, and usually Stanimal will also ask you for your Support Ticket number and try to help the process along.

I'm a little doubtful that it takes weeks for their Support Team to get back to you, as I've sent in 2 tickets in the past and have received responses within 24 hours.

Well i still havent got a email back and i found out what was wrong, its the mix amp, because when everything is hooked up it makes a huge buzzing sound that other players hear but by accident i put my finger on the red hole the red audio jack and it stops the buzzing so i guess theres faulty wiring inside the amp also when i turn the volume to the right towards voice it lowers there voices instead of rising it, so yea the mix amp is messed up but im waiting still for a reply from the support team.

My mixamp had the problem where i couldnt hear anyone unless i played voice through the speakers... i emailed astro and 1 day later they replied with a UPS electronic shipping label i shipped it that day and got it back fixed and perfect within a week the entire problem was solved, i think their support team is very good.

Well it's been 3 months and i still have these broken Astro's that came in the mail. Never got a email back now i probably lost the id number that came with my email months ago. Then i call and they say wait for the email and i laughed to myself. Then i heard theres been many messed up Astros during 2010 and i guess im one of the 1st it happened to.
