Would it be possible to make us some leather pads rather than the cloth ones. I always liked the comfort and feel of leather pads compared to cloth/velour.

Well since the current ones aren't removable I don't see them having to have two different headsets just for that. So I don't know.

Actually...
The ear pads *are* removable. We currently don't make the leather/pleather/chinchilla skin pads because they don't breathe very well, and can get pretty warm if you're playing for hours on end. It's possible that we may be able to do a run of those as "accessory" purchases if the demand is there.

Actually I'm dumb, I realized that I've always known they were removable just didn't remember to think about it just because I've never done it.

Well count me in for a set if you ever make them.

How easily is it to put the pads back on? I just tugged on the edge of the current pad to see how it comes off and just the edge was hard to push back in.

I am sure there are pros and cons of this, as leather pads also create a better seal around your ear for less sound leakage. This is optimal for closed type headpones, studio monitors, DJ use, etc, but would be kinda of pointless for an open back one (ie, A40). A con would be, like Xarion pointed out, unbreathable for long gaming sessions. Would you like ur head, and ears to be all sweaty from hours of gaming?? I prefer not...

This made me think, are the a40 ear pads washer safe?

In some of the pictures you see of the A40s they make the ear pads look different from what you actually get. They look mor defined as if they have leather pads, but it is not actually the case.
