Mixamp cuts out

If I bump into my mixamp or move the cord that goes from the headset to the mixamp, the sound cuts out and I have to twist the plug in the jack to get it to come back. Is this normal? I think the headphone jack in the mix amp might be loose or something. Its not the cord. Ive tested it.

It does sound like the Headset port.

I would contact Astro Support (http://www.astrogaming.com/support/) for troubleshooting & possibly a repair.
