I thought this would be neat to show everyone. I got a 3D mouse called the SpaceNavigator for my birthday. My kids got it for me. Warblade, I don't know if you remember showing me the Griffin PowerMate (http://www.amazon.com/Griffin-Technology-NA16029-Multimedia-Controller/dp/B003VWU2WA/ref=pd_cp_e_3) but it gave me an interest in 3D mice. Anyway, I made a one minute video of it and uploaded it to YouTube in case anyone is interested. Hey Warblade, I think when you showed me the PowerMate it was discontinued and made only for Macs but it looks like they brought it back. I asked my kids for the SpaceNavigator because it has support for hundreds of different supported apps. I can experience Google Earth as never before. WOW! Impressive! Anyways, HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yS7TtkI7qw) is the video. HERE (http://www.amazon.com/3Dconnexion-SpaceNavigator-Standard-Navigation-3DX-700028/dp/B000LB7G00/) it is on Amazon and HERE (http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacenavigator.html) it is at the developers site.
Cheers...

Oh yeah, Google Earth was the first thing I tried. I can use it for my Cinema 4D, Cyberlink Power Director, Sony Vegas and a lot of the Adobe apps. :D

I can't believe that stupid bot trolled my thread. That's alright because I banned it. Maybe Warblade can delete that post from the thread.
What's also kewl is that I can turn off that blue light ring because it's really bright and all the little lights for different things here in this room takes away from when I want to watch a movie in total darkness like in a theater.

Acid,
I just got an email today from 3dConnexion that says they've released some new Windows drivers, release 10, that allow the 3D mouse to now be used in any application.
And, what's with these ads that are now appearing in the forums? They're very irritating!

Thanks, yeah I downloaded release 10 yesterday. Man, that thing is kewl. I tried it in Cinema 4D and it rocks!
Hey man, this thing must weigh 10 maybe 12 pounds. It's seconds as a paper weight. haha Of course there's no draft in this room so there's no need for a paper weight.
