Heroes of Newerth - Like DotA

HoN is a team based arena style action RPG that is almost an exact replica of the very popular and competitive Warcraft III custom game DotA. (Defense of the Ancients)

This is the best beta I have ever participated in. HoN is not restricted to the WC3 engine so they can virtually do anything they want with the game. The S2 staff constantly listens to the competitive community and continues to release quality patches. The beta plays like final release game and I expect the beta to continue up until the game is released.

Nice, if you have never played DotA there is a pretty steep learning curve. I would suggest you read some guides, watch some videos and then hop into a practice game and mess around. The games on the server list that say noobs only can be a little confusing because noob in DotA/HoN basically just means pub game. People can really be a-holes to new players. The high skill games will all be pretty much private inhouse games or scrims/matches.
