I just got my A40s for Christmas and have been putting them through whatever tests I deem required just to prove to myself that this audio system is the best Christmas present ever. I was wondering what would be a good test for it. Like what have some of you tested it on that just make you go, "woah!". Kinda curious to see what everyone says.

Find a game which supports dolby digital 5.1, AND in reviews is raved about how good the sound is. The better engineered the game, the more amazing the effect.
Uncharted 2 is one such game I feel. I can't think of a 360 game atm that completely wow'ed me in SQ.
On the PC HL2 gives some awesome positional/depth 5.1
L4D series isn't bad either, hearing the distinct noise of a special infected in the distance is easier.
Battlefield 2 had always been noteworthy for positional audio. I just re-brought the game through steam since I lost my original 1st CD.
I was just playing dead space pc($10 atm on steam till noon today EST) and they did a bang excellent job. This is DEFINITELY the game to wow others with, graphically it is not creepy at all but with 5.1 enabled the entire game sends shivers up your spine. Nothing like hearing something drop down behind you and having an urge to physically look back.
