You will be missing out. If you liked COD4 then there's no reason you shouldn't like this one.

I was hesitant to buy COD4 at first, so I actually waited until January 2008. What a big mistake that was. If I had known COD4 was as awesome as it is, I would have bought it launch day. =P

I skipped WAW's launch, since it was done by Treyarch, but ended up buying it this summer for a cheap deal ($20).

I've already pre-ordered MW2. It's looking reaaaal good. =P

There was some footage release (leaked) yesterday that showed a playable 3rd person view for certain online playlists (think it was just for Old School DM and Team DM) as well as you can enable it in private matches. Looked a lot like SOCOM with it on. =P

I talked to my clan about it and called it "Gears of [Modern] Warfare 2". =P

Well the pre-purchase on Steam says the game will be available 11-12-09 and thats only 2 days after console release.

As a PC user I havn't gotten MW2. It is a significant downgrade from the original MW in terms of online functionality. Console users are already used to match making but I despise it even when it was introduced into gamesl iek Gears of War. Seriously took much of the community aspect/fun out of the game since theres no easy way to say hey "meet me on xx server" tonight.

Yea, i seriously think they need to fix the model 1887s they are ridiculous!!

Also, they added alot of stuff to this game. I am kinda disappointed with the maps as well.

It's just the range on the 1887 t hat needs to be tweaked. It's great and works as it should for close combat situations. But when you're able to kill a guy from 30-40 feet away with one double akimbo shot... well that's what's kinda "ehhh" about the 1887's.

Is it just me or is Matchmaking all over the place at the moment, there's some weird stuff going on with domination and just....oddness in game.

100% the update fixed the javelin glitch, nerfed Lightweight, and screwed up matchmaking!

There was some crazy glitch that my friends invited me to.. It was a ranked game free for all on Rust, with 18 people.. and no points are tallied but you gain experience still.. So it was unlimited experience.. for a time limit of course..

There's been a glitch that's been running widespread. It's been already before the patch, but after the patch people started to really get into it.

This glitch allows people to participate in private matches whilst still gaining xp. In some cases the match can be set to infinite so it can only be ended by a nuke.

It's in the "testing" phase in the IW offices. Once everything's been remedied and fixed, then it'll go for certification by M$ and the PS3 network. Should be up and running within 2 weeks on the Xbox, and probably a week for the PS3 & PC.

I honestly dont care much about them cause i know when i get back to 67 ill use them again. I think they are awesome as a secondary weapon.Although i dont just run around with them i still love them.
