The only thing I see on the list that would worry me would be the power supply. The overall rating on Newegg looks alright, but there are quite a few posts about it dying out or arriving non-op. Imo the PSU is the one place you don't want to skip on a build. Other than that it looks like it'll be a pretty budget nice rig!

If I were building an Intel rig, I would have gone with no less than a 700w PSU. Intels use a lot of power. If you start getting BSoD's I would first replace the PSU for a higher wattage one.

Yeah there is a guy that lives near me and i might be giving him that power supply and some money for a 730w raidmax ower supply

You'll be able to return that power supply and get a better one, if you'd like. I'd use Corsair (what I have, great), Ernamax, PC Power & Cooling, or the higher end of the Antec line of PSUs. Corsair is a good choice because of the warranty, most of them have a 5 or 7 year warranty, and their support is great.

Your rig looks great in every other aspect, but I'm and AMD fanboy. AMD FTW!!!

Couldn't agree more, only reason I'm going to get rid of mine is for a Corsair Modular on my next build.

Yeah, at the moment Corsair is making the best PSU. Next in line I'd go with an Antec HCP-1200 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371043&cm_re=antec_power_supply-_-17-371-043-_-Product).

Are they PSU's that are 40+ years old but still felling frisky? lol sorry I couldn't resist, never heard of them.

Yeah that Antec is one big beast! lol. My only qualm with the Antec is how chincy the sleeving looks with where they decided to start and stop it on the main harness. Where as the Corsair while having the same quality sleeving take it one step further with how clean the main harness looks on all their PSU's.

Yeah, it's very big. You have to make sure there is enough clearence when installing it. The only caveat is that the 24-pin and 8-pin are not modular. All the other cables are though.

...also why did you go with a card reader that reads FDD? Nobody uses floppy anymore. Plus it doesn't even read MicroSD cards. I would have gone with something like THIS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820176016) instead. I would send that Nippon back.

blue screen of death.

it just happens and your computer shuts down/restarts. its really annoying.

you will never know until you try

i get a blue screen like once every other month... because my computers parts dont get along.... or its my ram, or hard drive failure lol.......... idk, but it dosent bother me. it rarely happens

You might be fine. It's only a an i5 and not a i7. I would still replace it whenever you got the chance to at least a 700 watt.

Have you ever owned a computer before? A BSoD is the blue error screen that comes up when you have some type of hardware failure or write errors from your memory. Any type of hardware failure can cause it. Not supplying enough power to a video card or a motherboard with a high end CPU can cause it too.

Bumping the spammers away...

I'm assuming you're building this PC, so you'll probably have a few issues regarding the BSOD, especially if you're overclocking anything. All you'll have to do is ask for help here, because a few members of the community are pretty tech-savvy.
