3.5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable should be included with the mixamp

Imo the mixamp should come with the 3.5 mm to the 3.5 mm as I believe it used to come with it before. The mixamp is already $130 and should come with most of the cables required to use it for various things. What do you guys think?

It's used to hook up an Mp3 player or an ipod to the mixamp. This allows you to listen to your mp3 player while playing the game.

They stoped putting them in beacue not enough peiple were using it plus you could use the usb from your computer and probably stream music that way. Plus they make more money without it, it was in their intrest to decrase cable count and box size.

I always thought that a fair amount of people listen to music while they are gaming.

Hmm, well.. when I HAD my MixAmp(It's coming back to me soon) I use that cable for my Zune, I guess I might just be one of those fewer people or something. Heh ;p It's a good thing to have in my opinion.

I was under the impression that it came with one when I ordered the mixamp since i did plan on using my iphone with it, but there wasn't much fuss since i was able to pick one up from work

I think they used to come with the cable but for some strange reason they don't come with the mixamp anymore and you have to buy it separately.
