Ok, so here it is everyone... The Community Game Nights Plans.
WHEN YOU VOTE PLEASE POST EVERYTHING THAT I'M ASKING FOR. THIS WILL HELP EVERYTHING COME TOGETHER! IF YOU DO NOT, THIS WILL NOT TURN OUT FUN, AND WILL PROBABLY NOT HAPPEN. THANKS!
For this to work, all you have to do is post what systems you would be using (Xbox 360, PS3 etc.) and what you Gamertag, PSN, or anything else might be. Also "vote" in the poll above so we know about how many people to each system (just to make my job and DBakerr's job much easier).
One more thing. Post what games you would be playing, and out of those games, what type of gametype (Halo 3, for example, MLG, Infection etc.)

Sure thing dude! Though, if my EB Games gets their damn AvP copies in for the Xbox 360, I may be playing that. In Canada.. there was a holiday in the city that was shipping them, and a lot of Canada still haven't received their copies. My EB Games received their PS3 AvP's but not the PC / 360 AvPs.. they could have sold many copies, I was there for most of the time and they kept receiving calls and calls and more calls and other people coming in for it. They only received 1 copy for the PS3 for Sale, the rest were preordered. Quite ridiculous. I'm hoping that tomorrow I'll get my copies, if not, Street Fighter IV definitely with you dude!

I am enjoying it a LOT.

Trying to beat the story mode for all three species. (Marines / Aliens / Predator)

When playing the Marines I have gotten quite scared actually. I heard that after the first two levels it loses it's scare but.. still, agh.. :P I am on the second level for that though. It's interesting because, everything ties in with each other as I've noticed when playing through all of them. I am of course playing on the hardest difficulty (Nightmare) and if you die, you have to restart the entire mission... no checkpoints. So it gets that much more intense when you're battling off aliens in an enclosed area trying to survive on the remaining ammo that you have, then having to pull out your pistol to try to save your self..

So, I am loving it. =]

(Haven't been playing multiplayer much though.) I love the multiplayer.

Sounds pretty intense. I've heard great things about the Predator and the Alien campaigns, but I'm sure the increased difficulty on the marine campaign probably makes it a whole lot more interesting.

Yeah, I downloaded the multiplayer demo. It was pretty cool. I got stuck with being a marine the whole time so I deleted it. If you're a smart shooter, I think a person will win most of the time on multiplayer if your opponents don't know how to handle the alien or the predator.

@DBakerr, so I just placed my order for MAG. I saved 20$, woohoo for Glyde. Anyway, it's supposed to arrive the week of BF:BC2, I have a feeling a lot of multiplayer gaming is called for that week.

Alright well I may be busy with Bad Company 2 as well haha, but we can definitely play some MAG dude! :)

As to the statement of marines being overpowered, they are when you are a good shooter of course, but.. every species has it's own positives and negatives. My favorite is the Predator, then Marine, then Alien of course. It's quite fun. I'm sad at the fact that you only got to try the marine! That's only one third of the multiplayer! :P

Anyways, we'll definitely have to play when you get it okay? :)

Yeah, man. From what I can tell from watching videos being a predator seems like the most fun. I've heard you either love or hate the Alien control scheme and play style.

Most definitely. I think I've played the BF:BC2 demo to death, I can only imagine what the full game is going to do with my time haha. Actually, i think BF:BC2 would be a great game to use for a community game night, provided everyone has a copy of course.

When I played the original AvP on PC back in the early 2000s, my favorite class was always the alien one. I loved being to cling to walls and what not. I'd hide just above some door entrance, wait for someone to come by, and kill em. Easy prey.

Just got AvP on xbox, so I'll be down to play with ya some time in the near future DBaker. =)

This is a little off-topic, but all of this alien multiplayer madness reminds me of the Natural Selection mod for Half-Life. Does anybody else remember NS? Hopefully, I'm not the only person here that has experienced it. I think that is a perfect example of alien v. human multiplayer combat.

I'm right there with ya Glasket! NS was probably the BEST Total Conversion on Half-Life (even better than the original Team Fortress!!). I don't remember being that many maps, but I remember how you would have the ability to "spawn" as so many different creature types (starting from the little wall crawling guy, to the flying spitters, to the more alien type creature, then finally the huge elephant beast thing). I really prefered playing Alien in that, but I guess Marines were ok. I always felt if you didn't have a good leader/RTS player on the Marine side (they actually had a person who plays things out like an RTS, similar to Savage), then it just wasn't worth it playing as Marines.

I definitely, definitely agree. It's like playing versus mode on L4D. Sure, there are human players, but what you WANT to play as are the zombies. I knew there was a commanding officer via a topdown view, but I think I always ended up being a grunt more than a commanding officer. More than anything else, I remember the flying aliens. Those things were awesome.

I miss Savage! I never owned it but played in a LAN center and it was always fun to get some games going.. that game was tons of fun.
