I know we have a thread about "What song are you listening to" but I wanted to keep track of the most beautiful songs you've ever heard. Please link the song, if possible!
I'll start:
"There's No Place LIike Home" by Michael Giacchino (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8mTmjP-TJ0)
Comments that I totally agree by:
"I'm a grown freaking man who has seen a lot of **** in my life. And this song may be the only music to ever flat out bring me to tears."
"someone asked me if id rather be blind or deaf, after this song,i know the answer"

Maybe a bit outside of the box of what you were asking for, but still beautiful pieces with vocals that are amazing.
45 (acoustic) - Shinedown (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAWhB1_ZqvM&feature=related)
Not about suicide like many think after hearing the song. It's basically about how hard life is, and trying to understand who you are as a person. 45 stands for the world, and how at times it can feel like a gun. It's about being comfortable with yourself, which is one of the hardest things to do. As stated by Lead singer.
Bother (acoustic) - Stone Sour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbKrt-bs0m4)
A pretty simple straightforward song conveying pain, and the difficult nature of emotions.
Simple Man (acoustic) - Shinedown (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_yBTIkwXoA&feature=related)
This song live is otherworldly, the emotion/inflection coupled with the power of his voice is just moving.

Great list so far. Thanks for contributing, everyone!
Angels Fall Down by Skillet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5Wzdh377SQ)
Emotionally powered voices and later on, the instrumental crescendos. Amazing.

Reviving this thread with this awesome song I discovered last night when watching "The Losers" (good fun rental - even the wife liked it)
"Through Tears of Joy" by Orchestra Lunatica (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL5re1L_qMU)
As one YouTube commenter said:
I feel like I just fought a long and intense battle and now I'm floating in the voidness of space before returning through the Earth's atmosphere in a fire ball of light.

Also what Iwannaleya said Bother by Stone Sour is a pretty emotional song.
Fun Fact - Stone Sours singer is Corey Taylor from Slipknot.
