is nuts. I'm in Connecticut, and we're just getting snow thrown at us. My neighbor actually had to go to work, and got stuck on the end of his driveway, and we had to save the day and pull him out with our truck. I went for a walk, and it's up to my hips. We had a foot of snow, and I wake up at 7, we've got 2 more feet, and it's still coming. My mother won't let me go out for a run, and I'm fully aware that no one is gonna have their sidewalks shoveled. I want to be outside, but I don't have snow-gear, so the only way to do it is running..

Sounds awesome.

Wish we got snow like that in England again. It seems to have all disappeared and if it does snow on time, it is only a couple of inches off the ground.

I think this is a sign you all should move to California. :)

Very expensive to live here... but hey, it's worth it! Sunny most of the year. Our 'freezing temperatures' (which most Californians complain about) are anything below 50 degrees. haha

I lived in Syracuse for 3 years and experienced negative degree weather - great people, but I'd rather live in a place where we can CHOOSE to drive to snow if we desired!

Classes were canceled at my university for 2 days. It's all melted today though :(

Okay, you got me there.

School is never canceled here in California... there really is no excuse when someone claims it's snowing. haha

There's where New England wins! My school told me at 2:24pm when I got out of school that we wouldn't have school the next day ^.^

Haha, I have no school again tomorrow. I'll post a few pictures tomorrow, when it's bright out. I'll be sure to include what my father did to our porch. He thought he'd be funny, and build some steps around it, and also have a vodka bar or whatever, made out of snow, like in Las Vegas, he said.

Here's a few pictures. That last picture has our pond in it, completely submerged under the snow ^.^ It's on the opposite side of the pole.

WOW! That's a lot of snow and check those ice cycles out. They're like 3ft long.

Oh god, please take it. I finally got to go running today, it was like, 16 degrees. And me and my friends couldn't go up in the trails. They hadn't even paved the road up the mountain -.-

Heh, my wife and I had our honeymoon on the islands. She wanted to kill me for dragging her up that Haleakala Volcano at 4am to see the sunrise. It was around 40 degrees way up there!
