Seriously though im pretty ticked off atm, I called them on the 10th to ask if I can uprgade to an iphone 4 early since my upgrade date is actually the 14th this friday. Customer service rep on the phone said oh thats not a problem since its just a few days anyways I thought awesome I have a few days off work this week due to snow so I will go tommorow weather permiting of course. Well I got out today and drove down to bestbuy and after a few mins of telling them what I wanted done they said that it was still showing they could not upgrade me till Friday I thought well maybe someone didn't enter something well after a few mins with them being on the phone with AT&T I was told that I would have to go to an AT&T store to get the upgrade early I thought no problem its just down the road anyways. I get to the store only to be told that they don't know who I talked to or best buy talked to but they cannot upgrade me early and that I would have to wait, while the wait isn't what pissed me off its the two phone calls to AT&T and the two service reps that basically lied to me so I got out in the mess most of the east coast got hit with and drove about 2hours round trip. I am about to call them up and give them a mouthful and I better have something credited to my bill for the inconvience and trouble I went through because of them. Sorry just had to rant alittle the frustation is about to drive me crazy .

very true but after looking at some of the things verizon's iphone will be lacking doesn't really make me want to switch over I need my multitasking and the ability to talk and surf at the same time. The announcement sounded good at first but after looking into its not really the same phone it seems

seriously... verizon gets a poor mans version of the iphone 4. idk why they are making it different. at least their getting something other than droids. droids are the worst laggy phone processor i have ever seen. and are only big because verizon didnt have the iphone. now watch everyone drop off their droids at verizon like a prom night dumpster baby(?anyone?) and pick up the iphone 4.

you can get multitasking, just jailbreak and download backgrounder. its a better app than the actual iphone 4 multitasking feature. it gives you complete control over what you are doing and what you want to do. iphone 4 multi task feature is a joke.

sucks you had to do all that. reminds me of every time i go cash a check at the chase bank by my house i have no problems, until last week i tried to cash one and they wouldnt let me because i only have a credit card there, not an actual bank account. and its a wells fargo check...... same check i have been cashing for the past few years, same credit card, nothing has changed at all. what a dummy

The only thing the phone will be lacking is the ability to simultaneously talk and surf as far as I've read, and that is due to the technological difference between GSM and CDMA. Plus it is adding the ability to act as a wifi hotspot for up to 5 people. Not to mention it won't get spotty reception if you hold it wrong :p hahaha. I'm on the border though waiting for an announcement on the "Thunderbolt 4g" or what ever it's going to be called since all dual core phones like Motorola's Bionic are going to be 2nd quarter or later.

I think you did, the 3g CDMA technology doesn't allow simultaneous voice/data which is what the Verizon iPhone and all current Verizon phones have. Because of that it has different antennas than the AT&T GSM phone and the volume button will be in a slightly lower position.

Edit didn't catch your edit, but the faux multitasking isn't a loss and probably just locked out in the Verizon firmware. I do wonder if jailbreaking will work on the CDMA version with out the need to modify it though. If not it'd still only be a matter of days probably before it was.

It'll still have an antenna problem but in a different spot; having a case fixes that issue anyways. Personally I wouldn't get the iPhone 4 on Verizon since the iPhone 5 will be just a few months away...

Back on topic, in my experience, the AT&T support reps usually have more knowledge and capabilities than people working in the retail stores.

Idk. Verizon does have that thing on the droids wheee if you try to jailbreak/unlock it fries your phone so you have to buy a new one. They will probably do that to the iphone

They will probably have iPhone 4gs this year and iPhone 5 next year

To be honest iPhones were amazing when they came out, but now they are so far behind the market its not even funny...

And AT&T sucks too.
The only network here thats worth using is Verizon.
and they are the only network to get reception up at our local Ski resort...

That's only because Apple has stole the market. I've seen numerous reviews where it's compared in a VS match and it always wins. Once the Thunderbolt is released, it will no longer be top dawg.

Nah I think there are plenty of people out there who aren't bandwagoners and want something else. I mean WebOs is proof of that... should have died out ages ago with HP's horrible desktops of ages ago! I just want to know what Verizon's 4g pricing plan will look like... Sprint def has the better pricing platform imo.

That motherboard that you chose has one PCIe x16, two PCIe x1 and a PCI expansions. Not really a whole lot and PCIe x16 will accept PCIe x1. I would recommend THIS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131604) board instead.

seems like a great card to m. you could also go with a 5770, abit cheaper. i have 2 and they run just as good. but one will work great still. just if your worried about cost and all

Win7 will want to reactivate and validate it's instillation because it recognizes all thew hardware.
