2010 Mixamp In Canada

I am interested in getting a pair of A40 headset to replace my TB X31 and their crappy interference. I also want to get the A40s to use on my PS3.

My question is I purchase the headset and mixamp will I be getting the 2010 mixamp with the usb functionality in Canada? I searched the forum and know they are still shipping the old mixamp in the UK.

Second question is if the new mixamp is only available with the new BXR edition or is it also available in the the regular edition ?

I'm pretty sure that if you ordered it from the astrogaming.com site (as opposed to astrogaming.co.uk, their UK site), that you should be getting the new 2010 mixamp (with PS3 USB support built in). The order date should have been after 11/19/09 or so (when the BXR's were released) for it to have the new mixamp.

The new 2010 mixamp has been included across the board for the astrogaming.com site. The pictures on the site all depict the new design (which has a changed knob. The top of the knob now is all flush. Previously it had a more "rounded" edge.

This adapter is only needed for MixAmp's purchased prior to Nov 19th. Astro MixAmps sold through the US site (www.astrogaming.com) after 11/19/09 have PS3 compatibility built in - no PS3 mic adaptors needed!

MixAmp purchases made through www.astrogaming.co.uk, will need this cable to work with the PS3.

yea, i believe as long as you are from North America and order after Nov 19th, you will get the 2010 edition. I just ordered mine from canada, and i recieved the 2010 edition

if it has a picture of the new mixamp why wouldnt it come since if u put shipping from usa to canada nothing changes accept rates (im not trying to be rude but i swear common sense does not apply for half the world now adays when u put the mixamp in ur cart and u switch shipping does the mixamp switch obvisouly not)

What is the difference in the 2010 Mix Amp (other than ps3 support?) to the old one.

I bought mine fro the UK site on 22/12/2009.

Oh and I bought the PS3 cable as well... I use mostly with my Xbox 360 though.
