The minute I saw this update come across the Astro Facebook feed I told my wife to buy it for me for Christmas...but I had already picked out a good banana hanger to do the job...so I'm not sure what she will get. :D

so here i am, waiting about 1 year and 2 months for this product and what happens? i decide to play a little odst, fine and dandy. i put my astros on, turn on the xbox, monitor and mixamp.

all ready to play now.

admiring the new cable management theme i realize my xbox has my most favorite: 3 red "rings of death." yay!
so after i realize this isnt covered under the xbox extended warranty (its already been sent in for this exact issue i n '07) i am now not able to buy the astro stand:mad:.

and my friends asked why my only xbox game was halo. buy a ps3 people! get a PC and play games, anything but an xbox.

I have been looking for an inexpensive headphone stand, only one I found I wasn't as much a fan of but this one looks simple, sexy and cheap. Can't wait till I can order one on the 28th sometime afterwards.

Just ordered it, it looks sturdy and easy on the eyes without it breaking the bank.

Edit: those space invader things are "landing pads". They go on the top as a cushion.

When i was at a MLG event i was able to check to construction,heft etc before i even bought it and i'd say pictures are nice but being right there was better.

I didn't hang em off my 360 but laid them on a table and now their freestanding perfectly so it was worth it.

While i wouldn't expect this for the powered splitter i'm surprised they don't offer a with and without stand for the complete headset/mixamp bundle cutting $6 or more from the stand if you simply buy in the same bundle.
