yeah i use the optical cable. but whats the difference?
On will give you Dolby Digital Decoding.
You will want it on for FPS games for sure.

it enables the dolby digital technology built into the mixamp giving you 5.1 surround sound and overall enhancing the sound.

I generally use it on, It really enhanced and made playing Uncharted 2 that much more immersive, I've heard that for FPS games having it off can help you detect where abouts bullets/footsteps are coming from but I generally play with it on as well it just feels too flat otherwise for me.

Pizza on Thanksgiving? Blasphemy lol....I kid
Actually, Every year I think that maybe I should just not stress myself out and work so hard trying to make a "traditional" meal for my family and just make something simple. But I love turkey and dressing and if I dont make it....then I dont get to eat it lol. So, I spend 2 days preparing, cooking, make a pig out of myself and thinking next year maybe we should just go out to eat somewhere...lol.
Yeah, guess I am stuck eating a "normal" dinner like everyone else. My hubby just told me that we are going to his Grandmothers house this year. We normally dont, but Grandpa died this year and she is feeling a bit lonely so we are headed up there for ham, turkey, potatoes, stuffing, pie, cranberries, etc. I would prefer the pizza, but family is very important to us, so we will make a 5 hour round-trip drive to make Grandma feel better.
