Hi,

Firstly, hi all! Just ordered the audio system and looking forward to trying it out, but...

I'm slightly confused as I read on here that people in the UK have their shipments stuck in customs as there were posted from the states. From your website I was under the impression that UK orders were fulfilled from the UK? Is this not that case?

I'm expecting a delivery which support told me was next day, so assumed it was from the UK.

I didn't get a tracking number on the dispatch email, so I have no idea where it currently is. Really looking forward to trying them out after a bad experience with a competitors brand recently! :)

Now here is an odd one.

I got our stuff today, and gave the 2nd set I ordered to my mate and we both hooked them up and came online. For some reason I was constantly broadcasting and he wasn't, he was fine. I thought some of my stuff wasn't right so I logged a support call.

Eventually I went round to my mates house with my heaset and mic as I had figured that this was where the problem lay (don't ask how I troubleshot this, but I was wrong :) ) to isolate the problem and found it was working fine. Odd.

Eventually I borrowed all gear and swapped his items for mine one by one to see which one wasn't working, and same results - I was always constantly broadcasting with a background buzz.

So - since I have a background in electronic engineering I investigated, and it looks like it's a problem with the earthing in my flat. Any time a USB or phono cable is connected to it, it buzzes and sounds bad. Thankfully I am getting an optical cable tomorrow and am going to run the mixamp of rechargeable batteries until i can get someone to look at it.

Just wondering if you have you ever heard of anything like this?

I had the original mixamp amp like yourself and it made a buzzing sound when you connect it with a USB from my PS3 but without the USB cable it is crystal clear with rechargeable batteries in.
