I would like to see a chair geared to gamers in the office chair category. I know there are alot of chairs out there but i like the quality and attention to detail of your products and would be willing to pay $$$ for a nice chair. maybe with as many ajustable parts as a dentists or barbers chair lol.

yeh unfortunately allot of the "gaming chairs" our there while costing allot are quite poorly made and others are just gimmicks. It'd be great to see something like that from astro in the future but it's a big project and for something that size, shipping would be a financial nightmare, especially for a company that doesn't sell their product in retail stores, buying it straight from astro saves a fair amount of cash.

This would be a great opportunity to invade MLG Events as well. Imagine, every Station Lined with the best more ergonomic, comfortable chair!!
+1 For a Great Gaming Chair

Agreed... But to be honest, I don't know how many people who are reading this went to Anaheim, and then how ever many of those people went to the Dr. Pepper station, but did you see the chairs that were set-up there? They looked very comfortable...
I do agree that a gaming chair would be awesome...

I would like a gaming chair, but more along the lines of the ones that sit on the ground (duh i know all chairs are on the ground) but something compared to the likes of a bean bag but more sterdy, like a car seat... if that makes sense.

A gaming chair would be amazing. Personally ... I use the laptop as much as I do my xbox, so I'm sitting on my chair for a longgg period of time, and it gets annoying to have to go out and buy a new chair all the time because the thin layer of foam padding on the inside gets flattened out. I'd love to see something very comfortable, with thick padding that doesn't just live up to the standard of "oh well if you just sit in it for an hour or two each day it'll last you a long time" ... I want something so comfortable that it'll last me for years and I'll never want to get rid of it.

I personally use my PC chair, good quality one like, 5 inch contoured padding with nearly everything adjustable.
I like to be at face level with my monitor, being on the ground would be hard. How does the majority of gamers sit? sounds like a fruity question but I kinda gotta ask.

those chairs are called gaming chairs but they arent geared for serious gamers. i dont need speakers or a bunch of knobs that do who knows what. A cup holder sounds nice but we should get out of our chairs every once in a while. Some things i would like to see would be: swivel, height ajustable, recline back and slightly forward, foot rest(when my feet are on my tile floor they get really cold) comforatable, durable, also when i play for extended periods of time with my elbows on my knees leaning forward it gets uncomfortable, maybe something to rest elbows on(I could just get a pillow but hey, I can dream cant I)

As I said I just my computer chair, I'd like to see an Astro computer chair style product, with some of the features you described.

the low chair i was talking about would be for more casual play like kicking back after work.

A gaming chair would be cool, but what about a comfortable, portable, gaming chair? Having a gaming chair would nice for at home but who is going to see it? I've never been to an MLG event but judging from pictures and experience with convention centers the chairs used are supplied by the center and tend to be uncomfortable. Why not have more comfortable chairs, that can be compacted and transported to the next event.

And it could have a mount on the back/side for your headset!

My dream gaming chair would be a cup/drink holder, side holder for controller, electrical controls for adjustments, swivel, and a soft seat.

well, idk about a gaming chair since the price would be alot of money. But a Bean Bag Chair would be really cool... a nice big fluffy beanbag with the Astro logo on the top(head). Coming in multiple colors and patterns... that would sell me

I think if they were to make one they would need it to be a fold up chair because if they used them at MLG they would need to be stored and stack etc.
http://www.bouncen4fun.com/images/FoldingChair_tn.jpg
It would need padding and maybe a drink holder etc.

It MAY not be a good investment to purchase.. hundreds..? Of chairs for people who will only be playing for 1-2 days, (Elimination of course!)

I guess with anything Astro is more likely to partner up with a company which may focus their talents in producing seating for gaming sessions or just chairs in general like they've done with the company that produces the glasses that some wear while gaming.

Staples usually has a lot of good quality computer chairs.. Computer chairs work well for gaming I find. I need to get one my self.. So if you have a Staples, give it a check!

i use a bean bag chair for gaming :D its really comfy and the problem you all have with padding going after long sessions can be fixed with a new bag of beans (Y) like someone said early a more steady bean bag chair would be nice, i onced own a pyrmat or somthing like that, labeld "gaming chair" it was too sturdy but made for an alright experiance, if astro were to make a chair ide like to see a semi- sturdy bean bag type thing with some cool astro shizzle! :) the only problem with my bean bag chair is the beans always move so im often sat pretty much on the floor :P but then again thats fixed easily

Gaming chair is what you feel comfy with your butt, shoulders, back and neck. +++ Sound just mod the chair yourself. Adding speakers to a chair is novice level.

Works well for plushyness, and full body support if that is your thing.

Add one of those for the "recliner" effect or feeling of relaxation in your legs.
A little bit of tension in your body is good for gaming competetively though. Keeps your mind sharp, rather than relaxing too much.

So these are crappy cell phone pics but, pretty much I love it ;D, the arm rests are height adjustable, obviously the chair it self is height adjustable, and there's a back support thing with the back of the chair photo which is also adjustable =]

I had one of those before, wasn't plushy enough for me. Adjustable arm rests are nice, this one doesn't have any unfortunately.
for the guy before, modding chairs borders on ridiculously easy as long as you have the right tools and materials. Making a chair more "cushiony" is even easier. All you need is your favorite plushy material(like a thick pillow)
