So I thought I'd make a thread to kinda show off what you got for Christmas.
I didnt really get much, Some DC and FOX gear, and thats about it.

It may sound a bit cheesy, but my best gift this year was for myself, which was giving some great presents this year(which I dont normally do) So I outdid my self :p

i got my yearly xbox live 12 month card from my grandparents tonight :) dont know what my mom got me! i wanted a blu ray player, and asked my girlfriend to get me a yoyo. so fingers crossed!

I got yet another HDTV. This makes the third that I've gotten in the last four months. All LG models. This one is their 3D model. You can see it in my siggy. It's going up in my man cave so a short video is coming soon. Credit goes to Alpha for the idea. (Thanks Alpha!) Then tonight we sit down and open some more presents. My family and I usually make Christmas an all day event. :D

My parents got me Call of Duty: Black Ops, Xbox LIVE 13 Months Card and the ASTRO A* Star Headsets although they never got delivered ,so hoping to get them by the new year. But because I will be 18 next year, I don't expect a lot from them now on.

From me to me, I treated myself to a new Sony Laptop VPCF12M0E/B (http://www.sony.co.uk/product/vn-f-series/vpcf12m0e-b/tab/technicalspecs#pageType=TechnicalSpecs). Nothing to expensive or really powerful but enough to do my office work and HD YouTube but the Blu-Ray Player is a nice added touch so I can connect it via HDMI to my TV for 1080p HD.

I got some running stuff, which unfortunately, I either won't use or I can't use, due to the regulations of running... 2 bright yellow vests (which I don't plan on using just one), for running at night, some candy, and a notebook laptop that didn't work. I was thinking that I wasn't pleased with what I got, but then I realized that I hadn't told anyone what I had wanted, instead I had thought, "Oh, maybe I'll get that for Christmas". But, I didn't say it.. I kept it in my head.

My best gift, would probably be (as lame as it is), giving my girlfriend a very special ring of mine. It didn't cost me any money, but it has significant meaning to me, and hopefully she'll kept it on her at all times, like the pendant she gave me when I first met her in person (We met through my cousin, who's from NJ, and didn't meet for almost 3 years). Lame I know, but I keep it on my necklace all the time, and she said she will do the same. just wish I could have been with her, I have to give the ring to my cousin to give to her...

yeah it would have been fine until my oldest saw ups arrive with a big box and he saw what was inside he wanted it but it was his brothers so me and the wife decided to let them take out the presents and put it under the tree what a mistake well they like all their present regardless

FINALLY got my astro a30's, black with optical cable and rechargable battery. Mixamp ofcourse. I'm just apparently to stupid to figure out how to recharge the rechargable battery. If anyone could help, that would be greatly apreciated.

I got some weird/funny gifts; a gift card to in and out, Bacon Salt gift package and a Starbucks giftcard. I also got Inception and A-Team on bluray, but the best one was getting my books for next semester taken care of! There were a few others, but these were the best/funniest.:D

My Christmas got ruined this morning. I'll explain. Mainly for x-mas I got a few sweaters and enough cash to get the A30s/mixamp/rechargeable battery pack. I was super happy as I've wanted these for a LONG time. Christmas night I got home late after driving around to different families houses with my 3 kids (wife had to work). I took the only spot near my apt that was open because it was pouring rain. Get everyone/everything inside and pass out due to pure exhaustion. Wake up go to work which is a 24 hr shift. So this morning my plan was to order my A30s. I was so excited until I saw that I had parked in a reserved spot & my car was towed. $300 later & my Astros are now on hold until I can gather up enough money to get them. Unfortunately I'm broke & we are behind on all of our bills as well as having a decent amount of debt. With all this rough time I've been going through I thought at least I would get one positive in my A30's. Nope I was wrong. Hopefully someday on the near future I can figure something out. For all those who got theirs...enjoy!

I personally had a very scary Christmas. My mom and brother left for Egypt a few days ago for vacation. There was a bus accident on the 26th where 8 Americans tourists (6 women, 2 men) were killed in a bus accident and 20+ others injured. This happened in Aswan, which coincidentally was where my family was that day. Had to spend alot of time on the phone Egypt, calling around to see if my mom and brother were killed or not. I kept getting transferred to different people within the tour agency, eventually I just called the US consulate and they confirmed they were ok. By far the most difficult phone calls I had to make.

Volatol, it sounds like a tough situation you're in right now. Keep your head up, and know it doesn't hurt to way it out for your ASTRO purchase.

Glad to hear your family was ok. I personally didn't want anything for x-mas but my mom won't allow that & she doesnt want to give me $ for bills. So she said pick something that you really want. Since I wanted these for years that's what I asked for. So I got all excited & then got a big let down this morning. If it was my choice I would have either paid bills or received nothing.
