View Full Version : Lose plugs.

I'd like to know if in the new mixamps if the quality of the input jacks have been upgraded or not.
After about eight months of constant use the plugs on my mixamp are becoming lose, everything works just fine but I'm somewhat paranoid and a little concerned. The headset jack and controller cable jack no longer "click" in and are easily pulled out.
Just an observation feel free to comment.

I'm pretty sure it's just that they have been "over used"... this can happen with anything... The best Astro Gaming could do is made the part that holds the things in rubber or something so they won't change over long periods of time... Just an option though...

Hi Nevermind,
How often do you unplug and plug cables into our MixAmp? Just sounds like the disconnecting of the MixAmp over and over is just normal wear and tear to me. The connections should be 100%. :)

I use the A40 headset for everything, so it's quite regularly.

Yeah I believe it would just be wear and tear, unfortunately. :(

But you say it's on the Mix Amp right? So even if you use the actual A40 headset, the plugs should be fine... just leave it for a while, and it could fix...

yes, unplugging and plugging back in the input jack in the mixamp is what is lose.
