The original 360 mics had the mute switch right at the controller... Would love Astro to incorporate that into there system. I know this could be difficult because the mute switch is on the headset cable.

you've got me thinking, that doesn't sound like a hard mod for me :p

if astro were to make a 2.5mm cable to 2.5mm cable with a chunky end like on the 360 controller I can see how that would be a little more easy to use but I don't see the benefits being that great to make the change.

I personally don't have a problem with the system how it is.

astro is not xbox.

the A40 system is made for gaming not the xbox specifically.

I'm having trouble understanding you.

The system is a gaming audio system meant to be used with many gaming systems.

people are going to blow 300 bucks on a system that is as versatile as the astro system is.

I doubt Astro gaming will tailor the system to the 360 exclusively.

You can't really take out PC gamers, most people know PC gaming is one of the most elitist higher tiers of gaming.

I think what you are thinking of already exists. While it is not made by Astro and does not come built into the Asto headphone wire, it is still available. It is the Xbox 360 Headset Adapter which will cost about $15 on Amazon.
