Same! At least for my younger sister haha. My university has been on break from a week already :)
No snow, only ice :(
Edit: You might consider posting something like this in the Soap Box next time, as it doesn't really have anything to do with "Games, Gadgets, and Tech" ;)

I thought I put it in the party part.
That would be the Party Room (http://forums.astrogaming.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20). Sorry I meant to say Party Room the first time. No problem though :).
Anyways, is it snowing there?

I used to be really excited about the holidays in school, especially in December as you normally get random days off due to snow and ice but then I finished School, College and I now work, so now there is no excitement about days off as I can choose them.
But my younger friend is still in school and she always looks forward to Christmas as we normally do fun stuff such as shopping (which is actually boring as most of them are girls shops), movies and LAN gaming (especially with her own ASTRO's as we can do late night gaming now).
So Yay to no school!

I'm in the same boat. No excitement... until there are shutdown days at my firm... but that also means it's forced PTO. Booo.
Oh well, I'm taking advantage of time spent not working. Hello, gaming world! :)
