Hey everyone I am a new Astro Owner "well soon to be" just waiting for them to be delivered. Paid for 3 day shipping and the tools are now delaying it to 4 and who knows how much longer as the week goes on :( Have any of you had similar issues with the shipping for your Astros?
I'll post a review when I get them I just returned a pair of Turtle Beach x41's "garbage" so if your reading this and wondering on the two go with the astro's.
I personally think UPS is slow when shipping things. Especially cross country... I ordered a pair of A40's on the 27th of November and the delivery date says the 7th of December. Is 10 days a good time estimate when going from Cali to Florida?

If i read correctly, which I could be mistaken, I think he suggested the A40's and said the TB's were "garbage"...

As far as my recommendation goes, yes I haven't tried the a40 but I owned the x41's and they are pure crap. A lot of people are torn specifically between those 2 sets the only reason I did was the wireless functionality as I sit about 13 feet away from my TV and have kids so wires = trouble. Without even using the astros I'd recommend them to anyone over the x41's because the problems youll encounter with the x41's wont happen the the a40's "lots of white noise, interfering with routers, tonnes of loud popping and crackling due to interference" so I feel my recommendation can be justified on that alone.

You guys can choose the days it takes to ship? Or was this only avaliable in America? My past experience with ups was good ordered a crisis core psp when it first came out in japan and took 3 days for them to reach me here in Australia. I just hope it doesn't take so long since their shipping costs were quiet expensive.

Hrmm.. well, I payed $53 shipping to Northern Canada.. :( And it's been 7 days.D
*EDIT* I just checked US shipping and apparently, they have options.. but I guess we don't? 'Cause it's shipped from the U.S. probably.

Pping to the USA does have options. I actually live in Canada and am lucky enough to have a relative who can bring it to me on the 8th of December. The shipping costs to Canada in my opinion are unreasonable but Im lucky to be in the situation I'm in. Also I emailed astro about the delay in shipping and if it's not there today they're going to do something about the situation. Astros customer support so far has been outstanding hopefully they switch to Fedex in the future :)

UPS does fail a lot, I'll be totally honest.
The business I work for does a lot of work with UPS, and 90% of the time it's cheaper and more reliable to use USPS. The only time UPS has really done me a ton of good is when I'm shipping a LOT of goods, instead of just a smaller package.
