Would i be able to connect the Astros to a connector from the x11 so i wouldnt have to buy the mix amp?

I don't believe so because the quick disconnect cable goes to a 3.5 mm jack (One that can fit into an mp3 player and similar items) and from what i believe the Turtle beach does not. Although i believe you can connect it to the Turtle Beach DSS which is 80 or 90 dollars separately, and if your going to spend that much you might as well buy the new mixamp or the headset bundle
