Apple as windows and ms as Apple

What crazy talk is this ,well as apple keeps getting more market share they are less likely to innovate and simply
keep doing what got them where they are while ms who is hurting and staring 2nd place in the face is more likely to be edgy and innovate anything's better than 2nd best. Just IMHO things could go that way where apple gets too big n bloated for it's own good and ms is willing to do whatever it takes even if it has to listen to it's customers for once.

What do you guys think? possible,likely,improvable or impossible.

i dont think that ms is technically second best. and i do agree with you what your saying about apple just being the same thing. their o.s have looked the same since i was in grade school. and every ipod they put out looks the same, acts the same, performs the same. they just maybe add 1 feature they should have added to the last model but didnt. so i guess you could say their just fixing what they effed up in the first place

eh ill take a jailbroken iphone with installous anyday..... but i do miss Rock :( fkin cydia and jay freeman..... freeman if you ever read this, figure out your softwear and make it do it dosent take 3 hours to load. take notes from rock.

seriously i hate cydia with a passion, especially becasuse they bought rock and shut it down. fail

I have the same feelings about Cydia. Even when I turn off the themes and ringtones updates, it still takes at least 30 sec for it to reload the data. I miss the way Rock App did refreshes in the background. I actually got the iPhone 4 and used it for about a month. I didn't find anything special about it so I traded it for an iPad and another 3GS (got the iPhone 4 on contract).

I agree about the lack of innovation for the Mac OS too. I think Apple's hardware is nice, but the OS doesn't do it for me and Apple doesn't try very hard to encourage developers making windows programs to make them Mac compatible too. Then again, PC manufacturers should take a lesson from Apple in what makes a laptop have that quality feel. When you're holding a Mac, you can tell it was designed well and put together with top-grade materials.

Lol I'm too hooked on the iPhone to change! I just don't think the iPhone 4 was the big upgrade Apple was touting it to be.

I just think that Apple pushed the iPhone 4 out too quickly. They were the first to go head-to-head with the HTC EVO 4G. I love my EVO. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's my first Android phone so I'm stuck like Chuck on Android now. :D

ive used a few androids and they run to choppy for me. the os isnt as smooth navigating throught he phone as the iphone. and that carries over into games and such. which bothers me

Yeah one of my friends has that and it is BEAST. Apple needs to get with it and make phones with larger displays.

If you want to keep it thin like the iPhone and have the Android OS, go with the Galaxy S. Plus it has an AMOLED screen. Talk about vibrant colors, but it only has a 5mp cam while the EVO has an 8mp cam.

there is a process where you can get rid of the iphone os and put the droid os on it... but i havent seen it done

Wow what a apple bashing thread this has become. Btw jay bought the rock app to implement into cydia so it should be better. And if someone said that before sorry didn't read all the post of jealousy. Apple may come out with the same stuff every year but I would rather buy it and have it work spam/malware/virus/adware free than pc.

Jay bought it but did not implement anything to cydia. Cydia is a terrible app and jay needs to give up and let the people at rock do their thing

Yeah Cydia was excellent in it's early days (much better than Installer or Icy), but it has become too bloated and needs to be streamlined.

You can actually put Android 2.2 on the iPhone, but currently it's only for the 2G and 3G :/

If you were to switch the number of PCs with the number of Macs in the world, there would be just as much spam, malware, viruses, etc as there currently is for Windows. It's all based on the number of machines a black hat can spread their creations to. :( Metaphorically, you don't see any Wal-Marts out in the middle of a crop field in the Mid-West because not enough people would go to it.
