Has anyone had a Turducken before? We're having two tomorrow as there is like around 30 of us at Thanksgiving. This would be my first time having a Turducken. For those that don't know what a Turducken is you can read about them HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turducken) or just Google for it.

If you didn't live so far away I would. I usually have a few friends over at Thanksgiving. :)

I've been wanting to try one of these for awhile. It's too bad they're not common in California. I hear in the mid-west though, they're a bit more popular.

Next year I'm hoping to do a deep fried turkey. Moved into a house and with the extra backyard space, my wife will finally let me go through with this. =P

Oh, I've had it before, it's AMAZINGLY good. We would often have Thanksgiving potlucks with friends from church a few years ago where we first deep fried a turkey. We started deep frying other stuff too (onions, onion rings, SPAM (double yum)).

Frying spam?! That's a new one on me. I bet that's interesting.

Two years ago, we tried the Turducken... maybe it was the way my family prepared it, but we weren't that impressed as it came out a bit dry. It was fun eating it though.

This year we actually are going for the Deep Fried Turkey. I'll update everyone to see if it was a success!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :)

WOW! The turducken was so good. Very moist and tender. I'm going to have to have it every year now.
