Hello Everyone, I have had my Astro A40 LE System since the first day they were shipped, yes I had the batch that the warehouse tried to cut corners on, and headbands cracks, and mixamps broke, and the excellent support team fixed everything and ever since then, my A40s have been perfect. Amazing sound, and comfort.

Now I noticed that some new versions of the mixamp came out with some better functionality with usb, and etc, and I assume that a V2 of the A40 system (possibly a new name such as A50, heh) will be coming out when they are finished, when this does happen I am sure a lot of us A40 fans will want to upgrade to the newer and probably better version of the best audio gaming equipment ever created. What I am suggesting is a possible upgrade/ recycle program to trade in and get a discount of sorts to get the new equipment. (Personally i would love to see this enacted right away since i would LOVE the newer Mixamp!!)

Just my suggestion!! What do you guys think?

It'd be a nice offer.

I'm not sure if I'd take it, I only use my astro's for my 360.

But if there where some improvements other than the ease of ps3 support I'd be interested.

shipping for international customers may be a problem. Being in Australia shipping for my A40's cost about 80 bucks if I remember correctly. Having to ship your system back and have a new one sent out would cost a hell of allot if Astrogaming didn't incur some of the shipping costs.

I see where your coming from. I use my A40s for my xbox360, PC, and PS3, since i have all 3 set-up through an HDMI Switch to a nice 21'' Asus Monitor. I do a lot of competitive gaming through my PC (CS1.6 Former CPL 5th place) and xbox360 (Starting MLG halo/MW2), so i have all three hooked up through the mixamp. So depending on what im doing at the moment dictates what input i use. Having the Newer Mixamp would help a lot, since i could de-cultter my desk, using the USB cable for the PS3, optical for xbox360 and 1/8th inch to RCA cable for the PC.!
