Yes I wear glasses, they are annoying but a necessity. I find that after long gaming sessions my A40's push in on my glasses and can actually be quite painful. Would it be an idea to market replacement ear pads with cut out relief for glasses?

And don't suggest contacts, some people can't use them.

I feel your pain, literally. I wear glasses too, and contacts suck (I hate touching my eyes) ... and sometimes I manage to get a few hours to myself to play MW2. After I get to the second or third hour my ears start to hurt from the cushions pushing my glasses down... and forcing the glasses down which cause the nose pieces to kind of dig in. For short gaming sessions it is never troubling, but after a while it begins to become an annoyance.

Im also troubled by this as I have to wear glasses just for being on the xbox and its not so much the pushing in its the headset moving my glasses around and pushing the legs up.

I will have this problem in about a week! (getting glasses) I hadn't thought about it but that's a great idea...

Hmmm.....I've never had this problem with headphones. But I don't use the A40's.

Mostly I use really large "open" headphones like the AD700's and Pioneer DIR1000's

"Open" or "Closed" headphones don't really make any difference for people who wear glasses, as it more relates to headphone's cups either trapping air (sound) or it being more free-flowing (open ear headphones). The issue for people who glasses is any type of headphones that have the padding (of which the AD700 still has).

As a joke, can I suggest you guys purchase some monocols? ;)

I've found that "open" headphones are way more comfortable than closed one's......especially for people who wear glasses. I wear glasses. "Closed" phones (in my experiences so far) always place more pressure on the ears.

I barely feel the AD700's and can wear them for hours without any discomfort.....and yes I'm wearing my glasses. The AD700's sit very lightly on your head....and completely over your ears.

Astrogaming would probably advance on this idea but glasses sit a little bit differently on everyone. They could just create an indented hole where the glasses frame/ legs/ whatever you call the part where it goes around your ear to the glasses itself lol, but i would think that that would just look wierd and i would think "unneeded". i wear glasses also but i do not experience pain when i game. i just may be too into my game to notice the pain or i just got used to the pain lol. Try putting your headset a little more on the back of your ears when in a lobby so you can still hear your team/ people/ etc. so you can have relief for periods of time. just an idea, try it, if it doesnt work, try different ways?

Hope this helps....

also, sorry for misspelled words, not understanding sentences, grammar error, anything like that. i usually just type whatever i think and never proofread it... sorry.

I wear glasses also, but my glasses don't press against my head that hard that it hurts. You should try wearing the astro's a little looser than usual.
