It seems everyone is showing off their setup or game room of what-have-you. My Game room is enormous and I'll show it one day. I'm just not ready yet, plus I'm remodeling and repainting the house so It'll be a while. I've showed you all my projects and stuff. Like my computer rigs and sleeving projects but it's just not the same.
In the mean-time I'll show you all my movie and memorabilia room. I wasn't going to show this before because I thought it was a little over the top. Plus, I didn't want anybody thinking I was weird or something for collecting collectibles but after seeing Tiki with his I started to change my mind. So, I started taking pictures. I guess you can say I'm a fanatic when it comes to Aliens, Predator, Star Wars and LOTR. There's way too many to show on here so I'm providing a link to my album. :o

lol i think anyone who collects stuff like that is weird...
stuff like that never goes up in value, it only has personal value.
sure it goes up a few bucks or two, but rare coins or baseball cards can SKYROCKET in price.
For example, ive had a signed John Stockton picture(high school basketball and college) for about 10 years.
It would have been worthless then, but each pic is worth more than $200
I also have signed Michael Jordon commemorative card, that then would have only been $200 or $300, but now got for over $2k
I can see why you collect them, as a fan.
TBH I like your movie collection more :p
My dad collects Smokey the Bear memorabilia...and man is it creepy ugh...

Uhhh, I think you're misinformed. I have a book that shows that they are already increasing in value. 10 to 20 years they will be worth a fortune.

lol no sorry.
Everyone thinks that what they collect will be worth a fortune.
but there are several things you havent considered.
They will be of high value in books, but think about it.
People want mint condition in a mint condition box never opened.
then even if you had that, who will buy it?
just because it will be worth money doesnt mean you will be able to find a buyer.
You might spend a few years just trying to sell one item.
In a perfect world i will sell my cards for a tonnnns of money in one fell swoop, with no effort just because a book told me the value.

The book just tells me what it's worth at this time and what it's estimated worth will be in 10, 20 and 30 years. I've had memorabilia already sell for a fortune and I had no trouble finding a buyer. Finding buyers is the easy part. Look up information on collectibles and you'll see that it profits a ton of money.

lol ok then.
have fun finding a buyer in 30 years for something no one but your generation remembers :/
Ugh i dont even want to know what star wars will be like in 30 years *shudders*
they need to stop changing things before it gets worse :/
I think i phrased everything wrong acid.
I like the collection.
I just dont think the whole "MY COLLECTION WILL BE WORTH A FORTUNE IN 10 YEARS" thing is correct.
sure everything goes up in value but its not going to be "worth a fortune"

I didn't mean a fortune. But, worth a lot of money though. I have sold quiet a few collectibles and have made a small mint at what they were worth. First generation Star Wars collectibles are worth a lot of money to a seasoned collector.

How is that weird for a collector to not sell his stuff.
Its there to appreciate.
I would never think about selling my guns or cards, they will be passed down my family for a few gens.
maybe not the cards, but the guns are family possessions.

I only have two handguns. There pretty nice actually. Nothing a collector would be interested in but hey, I like going to the range and firing off a few. :)

I always enjoy going to the range and firing my guns, its kind of a relaxer after a hard week.
My dad and I would go to the range every once in a while.
My dad and I collect mostly Rifles and Shotguns, not too much else.
no bows or pistols, or knives for that matter.

Lol, when I was young i collected comic books, hoping to sell them and make a fortune when I matured. Right now, I have about 1500 of them sitting in my garage.:)

I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 6000 comics and most have been CGC graded and have been vacuum sealed for preservation. I just pulled this one from a box on the floor.

I'm a big Hulk fan too. I also have X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, DareDevil, actually I have a whole lot of everything. I collect my comics for collecting purposes only. I never read them because once the binder is bent it decreases in value quiet a bit. I send them off to have them graded and vacuum sealed.

That is down right sexy! How do I go about getting them graded and seal Acid? Wow that's really nice! Mine are all in bag and boards lol, but I do read mine... Maybe I should buy 2 of everything next time I go to the comic book store!

To get them graded go HERE (http://www.cgccomics.com/). Actually a lot of people buy two just for that very reason.
