so i finally got to order my new a40 audio system with the mixamp 5.8! i got the white MLG edition :) im super excited! i got the rechargable but skipped out on the optical cable since it comes with one :) cant wait!

Good for you. I'm sure you'll get plenty of hours of enjoyment from them. There's not a day that goes by that I don't use mine. You'll soon learn that it was a very wise investment. :)

haha i know that for a fact. i had the original 2010 mixamp and white mlg headset but 2 days after i received them the mixamp 5.8 was available for pre order. so i went ahead and retunred mine and todaay i received my refund :) i loved my other astros but couldnt stand not being able to get the new mixamp. i cant wait !!!

wow lol i didnt realize they were coming so soon :D even better! although im not too sure on how well they'll work with black ops. seen many complaints and i cant barely hear anything with my poopy TBx31

I think Black Ops is a total let down. I don't really think that the Astro SS can help if the coding for the sound in the game is messed up to begin with. :(

well, i personally like the game. it has its ups and downs but seriously sniping is useless. and zombies hasnt changed... its ok in my book but not what i expected... either way im grounded from the game lol but im excited for my new astros!

no lol i skipped school and had my a friend of mine who is a girl call me in... my mother found out. lol she knew i skipped to play the game so she took it away. haha i feel like such a child. im 16 and still getting punished. oh well :D

Didn't you already get your wireless Astro SS? If so what do you think? Are you off being grounded yet to use it?

haha yes, i returned my first headset to get the wireless one. i love the wireless. sounds great and no quality has been lost, in fact it sounds better. Believe it or not i love the bass boost, although it may not be ideal for competitive gaming but it sounds amazing. also ive been ungrounded for some time now and had the chance to enjoy my lovely headsets. thanks Ac1d for asking i'm sure you'll love them as well
