so if any of you remember a while back about my "fix" for the speaker buzzing

well after a month or so afterwards the buzzing returned. i have finally found and fixed the problem once and for all.
it turns out that its a minor design flaw (sorry astro)
when there would be any type of low frequency i would hear the buzz and could not quite narrow down where or how it was happening. i had finally found that the center of the speaker was buzzing on the backside of the little fuzzy piece that covers it. the back of the fuzzy piece is almost a wax paper like material and my ear was pressing it just enough that it would touch.

this is my fix to that problem and it cost me about $2 and 10 minutes of time

its a custom fix speaker grill. i have the inner fuzzy part still on top.
doing this fix or mod , however you want to see it, has improved the overall sound quality of my astros and comfort.
this does not hurt the speaker in anyway.

i have had this installed for about a month now and im very happy that i did it.

i just figure i would share this bit of information in my findings.

Hey unseenbeing,

Good to see that you have solved your problem but you have voided the warranty and any repairs on your ASTRO A40 Headset as you should already know.
