Suggestion Perhaps for Outter Plates?

Hey there.

I don't know if this would ever work, but it just came to mind. You guys know the white and black option they have for the outer areas right? Well.. I was just thinking that maybe if it's possible to detach those with screws or something I don't know.. if ASTRO would consider making different colors of 'outer plates' and having them for sale separately or something..

Heh. Don't even know if it would work, but it was just a random idea. Also, how they have the beta for the customizable tags, maybe if they were to ever do that, have that for the plates as well that I'm talking about. Or even have a bundle package or something if it were to happen, where you could have the same logo or design on your speaker tags as well as the outer plates, and then if you chose to have a name or wording on the speaker tags, to as well have them on the top of your astros? :P Again, just a random idea, but thought it would be cool to share with you guys! :)

Any thoughts?

are you talking about the frame? I dont think they are going to sell seperate frames, when they just released 3 new colors

i dont see why they couldnt its better then buying a new astro for the color

it would be a nice thing but it's a big operation to produce and market a range like that.

allot of man hours and costly operations.

maybe in the future but it is something that is on a large scale and not as simple as it sounds.

I wouldn't mind seeing more colour options for the inner plate that the tag normally covers since their still partially visible under them when equiped

I actually see this as a pretty good marketing idea. I mean how many people here got the A40's in white and after they got them decided they wanted black? or the other way around... Or what about straight up a new color? I know I would want red (the BXR's I know... but I can't afford a new set...)
I don't know... I feel like this could be huge for Astro if they were to do this... I know I would buy. :D

oh yeh going that far into it for customization would be bloody hard and very costly but for just the frames and maybe tags, custom colours sound like a great idea

purple was just my preference, i wasn't suggesting it as a proper main line production, but if they went into personal custom colours that'd be what I'd be after.
