So I finally received my blue A40's today and I'm ecstatic! They are absolutely awesome. But anyway, on to the topic. I was wondering if anyone happened to the know HEX value for the blue color on the blue A40s. I'm wanting to use that same color on my future custom tags. I know I could just try and guess the color, but I want it to match as much as possible.

Hey,
Try giving ASTRO Gaming Support (www.astrogaming.com/support) an email. Just ask them what you asked us and they should be happy to assist.
Thanks,

I've tried that, but all pictures of the blue A40s that I found have different lighting in them. That and there is a gradient to all of them as well. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll try what AllTimeMitch suggested.

Have you tried using Paint Chip samples? or a Pantone book?
The color over a monitor will vary so your best bet is to check either of those for a true color match
or get in touch with Astro as previously stated.

Hey guys, I sent an email to Astro Support and I got a response very quickly. The color they told me to use seemed very different from what was on the actual A40s, but they assured me that it was the same color that is used in making the Astro tags. I will implement the color into my design and see how it comes out. In case anyone is curious here is the HEX value: #33CCFF.

Err... #33CCFF is pretty bright aqua.

Can they send ya a CMYK value instead of a web value?

That's exactly what I told the rep. I figure that the color will be darker after print. Either way I will ask them for the CMYK value as well because for some reason I still don't trust that HEX. I'll update this post when I get a response from them again.

the prints are slightly darker than what you see on your monitor
