the new mixamp

when i use my mixamp with my ps3 and use the mixing knob and change it to just game and no voice the sound crackles if its set in the middle its fine

does the new mixamp fix this problem on the ps3 or is it still there now?
ive already sent my mixamp in and got it replaced and the new one still has the same problem
