I would love to have a EQ on the mixamp. It could be either be a small hardware one or a software one. The software one would be cool if you could plug your mixamp into the computer with a usb and adjust the eq to suit your taste. Shift the exact frequencies where important audio cues lay or turn up the bass for those who want to be more immersed into the game. Everybody could tune the frequency response to there personal taste rather than swapping headphones to get what they want.

Only way I see doing that is if they would have driver software to install on the computer. If it were controller based, it would have to be a much larger controller to house a set of EQ attenuators. Nice idea but I would have to say nay on this one. Just my two cents worth. :)

Cheers...

that would be cool but i would like if my xbox would recoginise my mixamp as a flash drive and you should be able to save your profile info onto it so when you go to your friends house or for a lan it makes it just that easyer

I agree that the MixAmp should have a built in storage device or a USB Passthrough so I can plug my USB Flash Drive into the MixAmp with my profile on.

Nice suggestion.

Hrm, either that or how about if it had a USB switch/hub? =P And if that's the case, I wonder if it could be arranged to do away with that controller cable altogether. Not sure of any USB only headsets that work on the Xbox though. Would be awesome though.

Hardware EQ can be rather expensive. While you can use this audio loop program, forgot the exact name but it creates an audio device on your system that allows you to use VST plugins. There are some good VST Equalizers out there. Problem with that is it would be limited to your PC and not any other device you plug in.
