Package delivered at 1230 but not at my house..... This wouldn't have happened with ups. I'm about to burn a fedex warehouse down. Seriously WTF fedex? Then takes 48 hours to find? Probably should call me back within the day

I would say 'what has the driver been smokin'. I would be a little miffed too. Sorry to hear that Socks. :( As long as you still get your package I would say you're alright, but I know how you feel.

The fedex guy seemed really nice. It happens. I'm sure I'll get it eventually. But still pissed for the time being. It was probably the truck drivers last day and said f it and dumped all the packages off at his first stop then went home haha

Was it even on the same street? I sometimes receive mail that isn't even close to where I live.. I can understand when I get mail that are directed to the neighbors or something, but somewhere else entirely is strange lol. Either a new driver who decided to hate his job within the first minute, a drunk/high driver or as you said, his last day and decided to leave with a bang.

i guess it just showed up at my house.... maybe im wrong but 6:45pm is a little later than 12:30? or maybe fedex runs on different time scheduels. either way they can s my d.
new hated list goes as followed.
1) scogre from www.mycstomxbox.com
2) everyone at creative sound cards
3) fedex, except the guy from support who was taking my info to help find my package, he seemed ok

man im starting to worry about my fedex shipment that supposed to arrive tomorrow with my A30 system! I hope it doesn't happen to me like last time with ups when the driver decided not to delivery my package and labeled the package as the shipping label being illegible. The next day when I did receive it I looked at the shipping label and it was perfect. No errors or misprints or label being torn so I was like WTF!?

That wasn't as bad as mine.
When UPS used to deliver for GAME UK a couple of years ago, I purchased a Xbox 360 Elite and they put on the box "Fragile" so to save time as I was out, he chucks it over my back fence and puts a card through my door saying it was left in my back garden.
I took it back to the shop as I really didn't want to open it to find out it has been damaged. From that day I try to avoid UPS for my deliveries.

Wow, that is a little extreme of the UPS guy... but I've seen them do the same with boxes. Same with those airline guys who move the baggage. Now I know why my bags get damaged and break within about 5 years...

agreed.
do you think the ups threw the box over the fence or just opened a gate and set it there? i find it hard to believe that the ups man threw it over a fence.... but it probably does happen

When I worked at greyhound during my college years in the early 2000's.. We would toss packages around like baseballs with no regards for the contents!! Especially if it said fragile!! LoL!! So I can guarantee you it happens with both ups and fedex at least at the facility where everythings sorted!! :) Now if its also happening at the final delivery destination thats just bad form!!

i think FedEx can be blamed for what the public thinks is a bad slow response from tech support. my replacement part was in Sacramento for an extra day before going to fedex in another part of CA stayed there for about a day then it was sent officially sent for delivery of course it is traveling by truck so my ext. delivery date is looking to be next month. however the guys at Astro responded within 24- 36 hours if not faster. it helps to do as much testing has the end user can. it helps them narrow the issue down further. i am of course talking things like different cabling and systems and hook ups in general. writing down even the most minor of change and sending that info in with your support request helped tremendously. i hope that the part will solve it if not i have faith in astro to find and fix it for me. waiting is just natural.

WTF are you talking about? Testing cables has nothing to do with a mailing company saying a package has been delivered yet it's not at the front door. Read the thread then politely gtfo and no trolling in any of socks threads k thanks

socks it is here due to the title of the thread "FEDEX fails" please stop the flaming and kindly follow forum rules in your responses there is no reason to tell anyone to GTFO. so please get over yourself this is ASTROgaming not Socks private forum. if it was i would not be here. we all all here for the same reason we love are astro's and wanted to help others to find that love.
the problem with FEDEX and tracking in general if it is not scanned or scanned incorrectly then you have things delivered and they are still on a shelf or in some case something in your hand that has yet to even leave for delivery. if you read my comments it said FEDEX fails basically. i will say this i think in some cases they could just send in flat rate but would it arrive safely

All the carrier services fail to some extent. I just ordered a 32gb class 6 microSDHC card and it's origin was Georgia. As it left, it then went to New Jersey and stayed there for three days and then proceeded to Texas. It comes down to one thing.. Human Error. But when it landed in Jersey I was emailing the seller like crazy asking where's my stuff because my estimated delivery date had come and gone. All the carrier services depending on who is the delivery driver will man handle your precious cargo. This is why most online stores have to pack your item with a lot of bubble wrap or the like. Those drivers make decent money so it makes you wonder what's going through there head when you see them chunk your package from half-way down the driveway to your front door.

"good i can get paid to hall that broken stuff away. double time then get paid to bring its replacement back"

I know exactly how you feel, maybe i felt a little worst but here's my story. i had just bought the xbox 360 slim 250 gb. and i was really excited to here my xbox was coming in. well it had finally came time to get my xbox from FEDEX and when i checked my tracking number it said my xbox had been delievered and left at the front door! well i was really ticked for multiple reasons, 1 i was home all day and recieved nothing! 2 driver must of left my box at someone elses house and just left it at there door. 3 who knows how long the xbox was sitting out in the arizona heat! so after hours of arguing with fedex representatives i finally got a ice man just like you who got my info and said he would call the driver to double check if she actually left the box or posted it as delivered and kept it in the truck, well turns out she did leave it at who knows's door. she cam back hours later with my box and simply said "my bad". worst fedex experience ever. too bad astro ships via fedex. but hopefully i wont have the sam issue again

Iv had no problems with fedex, iv been using them for delivering my computer parts recently in the past month or so and the boxes don't look damage, and the customer service is fine, I usually get a response within 5minutes of calling them they are better than UPS
