My room only cost $5K, and its about the same as switchys minus the super expensive signed posters.

I used to make a boat load of money as a kid mowing lawns, so I just saved it all up and put it all in paintball and video games...

Yeah, and the best part about those posters is I didn't pay a dime for them, just the $5 for shipping, lol.

And yeah, I work a lot, and I have to have something to spend it on. I've been working at a country club for the past 3 years, and pretty much don't buy anything other than gas and games. I just worked a summer internship at this software development company and got some money for that and decided to blow some money on my setup.

antec is deffinetly sweeter. plus cools better. id have a modular power supply but im using almost everything, plus this computer shop did some sweet cable management for me

Well it's just like...I wish I had gone with a full sized ATX case like the 932. With an aftermarket heatsink, a mid atx case, and a non modular psu, my case is like ALL wires. sucks. wish i could have better cable management but theres just too much crap shoved in there.

Actually the tubes are clear. The color is actually the UV reactive die that goes into the water that flows through the tubing. Actually the fans aren't needed if you water cool your rig. I just have them because they are led and uv reactive for the looks. I have overclocked my CPU to 3.7Ghz so the water cooling is needed.

actually thats my hd-dvd drive for my 360 sorry I put it there simply becuase its doesnt get really used that much I still have some hd-dvd's but its not hard to hookup long enough to watch those movies

Yea thats what I got it for and i now use it to edit videos on sony vegas but im getting a mac soon but i do think the touchsmart is worth it, and has one of the best displays ive seen.

I remember Unseenbeing posting his first setup. Didn't you make it out of plexi or acrylic or something. I remember me and Socks and everybody was like WOW that's neat. I so much wanted one. Ikea. It comes in two parts, the bottom and then the top, designed for each other but sold separately as some may not need the top part and they also sell another top part with more shelves. (I will find out what the actual brand is for you). These are the two parts on the Ikea website as an example Bottom (http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/90086805) and Top (http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00086796). I'm 100% that is my TV unit but it looks like they have made some minor changes to it since I purchased it last year.

Yeah they are really good. Nice and crisp sound. Not much bass probably a good thing if they are for your kid. I went from wharfedale pro evo 30 floor-standers to these haha.

well my old k7 gsxr 1000 was far from standard,it was 185 bhp @ the rear wheel,loads of carbon fibre parts,full yoshimura race system,wp 4618 rear race shock ,k-tech and ohlins front fork internals,galfer racing brake discs,R1 calipers,power commander,k+n race filter and pro billett racing velocity stacks and a load of giles racing parts and loads of r+g protection and gb racing casing protectors...,the ktm had a load of trick parts on it aswell but they dont touch the bmw s 1000rr for handling and power....im thinking about getting this in january a 2011 aprillia aprc se rsv4 but i got to talk nice to the missus as they are 17k on the road in the uk.....

Haha thanks bro! I used to be all about microsoft and their products. After I bought a mac that completely changed! This iMac has been a very good computer to me, not the greatest for gaming but that's what I got my ps3 for. iPhone is a plus also!

Panasonic TV (I personally love their plasma TV's. Great blacks, and with Kuro's not being in production anymore, they're probably the next best choice for plasmas).

And yeah, like Jade, I made my own background and had my xbox use the image (put an image on a usb thumb drive, then go to Pictures, and press Y to set that picture as your xbox background). It's fun, and gives your dashboard a bit of character.

i have played paintball its just not my cup of tea plus where you play and who you play with can make a whole lot of a difference. for instance if your playing with walmart gun in your friends backyard then yea your not going to have any adrenaline but if your playing on a sponsored field with a bunch of people who travel the country and you play matches like Operation Irene then your gonna have a some adrenaline because your actually playing the objective and the guns dont feel very good. Now im not saying that they hurt as much as paintball but your not wearing as much clothes as paintball so there each made for different purposes. Airsoft is more mil sim.

Amen brotha. I like the guns, I never got into the airsoft thing because it wasn't big at the time when I played paintball. I have gotten hit by a couple of high powered airsoft bb's though and damn it made me jump a couple of times lol. I wish there were more places to have fun like that here. :(

I made my headset stand out of an old erector set I had. It has a spot for my astros, mixamp and extra ear tag, not to mention a controller. I also have a fridge full of coke a good gaming chair and a couch that is a futon. =)

Ill post my set up but Ill contribute to this thread. CQC airsoft is just as much adrenaline as paintball. I have mp5a4 g&g, kwa m9 ptp, tm 4.3 2011, kwa usp .45, angel one, smart parts nerve, ion, 2 tippman a5s, 2 tippmans 98, tac 8. Airsoft is just more milsim.

Thanks, they also make extensions for it to let it go further, i was thinking about getting one so i could lay back more on the couch and not have to turn slightly to the right to play. the best thing about have a 24 inch monitor so close to your face is that you see everything, even the slightest little campers head poking over a box or through a window across the map. :D
