Any differences between the new mixamp and the old mixamp besides added PS3 support via the USB cable and a slightly sleeker look?

If you ordered from the US after Thursday, you will probably get the new MixAmp.

Thanks ;) I had sent an e-mail to since my curiosities could not keep me patient ;).

When MAG comes out on the PS3 I might upgrade for convenience. As of now I been using my 360 controller to add my PC to the balance control.

- ASTRO StanimalOrdered November 13th, had I known this revision was coming out I would have waited. Any way to get my current amp replaced with the new version?

Update: Sent a message to customer service. Already taken care of. Just have to send the old amp back and I'll get the new version. Thanks!

If you scroll down a little bit, ittekimasu talks about readin the manual and it stating that it has the 7.1 technology in it. Stanimal can u elaborate on that?

Comparing the old manual to the new one it seems that they are the same and the features of the old and new mixamps in terms of DD sound are the same the old mixamp provides 7.1 DD surround sound it simply does not state 7.1 in the old manual. Astro has updated the new manual in that respect by just adding in the "7.1" in my understanding.

So I believe there is no difference in sound between the new and old mixamps.
