Man, with the price drop I'm really tempted to buy myself a pair. The A40's I have are nice but I just want to waste money I guess.... Been looking at them since they were released but never "needed" them and still don't. Think I'll snag a pair in the end though and hope for the best.

I saw DMZilla ( twitter.com/dmzilla ) with a pair during the Xbox Tweetup in LA during E3 and have been thinking about them ever since then. Maybe...just maybe I'll purchase them once I can cash my paycheck...which sadly, just covers the cost.

Eying the Peace Walker Edition hoping for a audio system mix to get with the Mixamp thinking they would drop the free game to do that. Seeing how it went down but also the game disappeared from the headset was sad not to see it bundled with the Mixamp but bit the bullet knowing these might not go on sale again for a very long time. Been looking for something that is cross platform & mobile and these are the ones. Hopefully can find a Mixamp sale in the near future to add on to it.

If you're like me, you won't regret the purchase at all. I'm quite the headphone junkie - got all kindsa stuff in my room - and the A30s are like a go-to headset for just about anything and everything. Quality that'll make you wanna use them for music, movies, and gaming at home, and size that makes them perfect for travel.

I've been in a situation before where I'm like - do I really need this? And I feel like with the A30s, youll find yourself using them so often that you dont regret the decision in the slightest. If you're strapped, you could wait, but I'm just saying you wont be dissapointed.

Normally shops will clear stocks in order for them to bring in new and better parts. It's like 3G making way for 3GS, vice versa. Offer may not be a good deal after all.

No, that's definitely not happening (well in my opinion). They just released the A30's not too long ago and are not ones to have fast product turn-around. We probably won't see another audio-related product from Astro for at least another year

Looks to be a Mini Extender Cable, for well extending your ASTRO Gaming 3.5mm Cable. But I have no idea why they would only extend it that far.

They don't sell it on the website yet so it looks like a new bundled item.

I figured out what the Mini 3.5mm Extender is, and why it may be useful (for A30 users).

Remember the original iPhone? It was notorious for having a recessed 3.5mm jack, that only allowed for certain earbuds/headsets to be used with it (if the plastic around the jack was skinny enough, like Apple's Earbuds).

While there's been no recessed jacks in the recent iPhones, other companies could have been using them with their products. Better to offer a solution for it free with your purchase than to charge for it huh?
