Is there going to be a new Astro Headset for the Xbox360?
Because It's been a year since the a40's came out.
I don't want to buy the a40's and then 3 months later new ones come out.

anyone know.

IIf anyone could tell me this I would be greatfull, the ONLY thing keeping me from buying a set today is I don't want a new set out in 3 months that I could have waited for.

That doesn't mean they will say if the have one COMING out in two months unless maybe someone asks, kinda like how the new mixer thing happened with people who had purchased the old one even weeks before. So I want to know now so I don't have to worry that a new headset will be out in 3 months or less. That's why we are asking now and not after.

If anyone could help us out that would be great. I am not asking for a date just want to know if there's going to be a new set introduced in the next 3 months are not. Any staff that can say yes or no? or show us where to find the info.

it seems very unlikely....the new colors that the A40s comes in now+redesigned mix amp should be the only stuff they bring out for the holiday season.

I am inclined to agree with you on this BUT I just want a staff member to confirm if possible. Since my assumptions have a way of being wrong.

All we can say is that the A40 isn't being replaced anytime soon. You're fine to order your A40's now. :)

LOL People There Is No New Headset. There Mite Be New Editions And A Newer Finish But Everything Is Gonna Be The Same. They Only Thing that might happen over winter time is that they mite reduce the price by like 30$ but thats it. and i dont think its worth waiting 5 months just to get a price reduction. get the headset and enjoy. you only live one life. there is always gonna be new things

Don't worry this isn't Apple. Astro isn't gonna make a new headset every 6 months and make you feel like your model is obsolete :p

Fortunately Apple does main updates every 2 years or so for laptops. iPods/iPhones on the other hand are about every year.

BTW: I'm still a HUGE Apple fan. Need to pick up a new 15" Macbook Pro soon...

My mother just threw down $3000 for a Macbook Pro. My jaw nearly hit the floor when she told me how much she paid for it. They're so expensive. Of course she got a bunch of freebies; wifi printer and a 32gb iPod and a bunch of software. She's happy so I guess that's what matters most. :)

ever time i think to buy one myself my jaw hits the floor then i look at the desktop version with multi-cores talk about pricey.
