Technical problem.

I know there is a section to help me but I could not find anything for this problem.

Between about halfway on my master volume and another 1/4th way down to softer volume, I get LARGE static problems.

It said something about adding x4 AA batteries, but I cannot find where to put these batteries?

I'm only using USB power + I do not have rechargeable kit.

Please help I want to know if I need to send the mixamp back.

The batteries would go on the back of the mixamp..turn the mixamp over and get the screw out to open the flap.

I didn't know if I was supposed to unscrew those :)

EDIT: It still has major static in those regions and I cannot tell a volume difference from halfway to full :/ i think mine is faulty.
