Hrm, just an idea, but what if there was a panning knob for the gamechat for voices to be either on your left/right or centered. I like the fact with the original xbox 360 headset, it's just on one ear, and makes it a little more "realistic" for communications to be in one ear, rather than both.

Pretty neat idea. I'd say there's no real demand or need, because
A) at tournaments, you're going to have (and want) stereo sound spread across 3 teammates and a coach
B) How is communication more realistic if it's in one ear? Unless you're seated at the end of your teammates, wouldnt stereo communication be more "realisitic?" What defines realistic communication?
not criticizing at all, just wondering.

For A) Wouldn't really matter if it comes in both ears or one. The benefit, but also the downfall is if there's a lot of chatter, you lose the ability to clearly hear direction if it's in both ears.
B) It's more realistic by military standards. Soldiers don't normally go into battle with both ears listening to their communicator/radio. It's usually just in one ear so they can still hear what's going on around them.
